A Prague Theater Tour...

Here are three of Prague's Theaters.  The Smetana Theater is a beautiful Art Nouveau auditorium.  there are many buildings in that style in Prague.  Unfortunately, there are not so many in the US.

Smetana's Vltava...

This is an oft heard piece in Prague. this particular transcription was performed by the "Old Prague Ensemble" at St. Martin the Wall Church.  This small church is very reverberant because there is hardly any soft surface.  The performers do well up to about the last 30-45 seconds where ensemble and intonation issues marr the ending.  But it is still worth hearing.
